Communicating the roles of nuclear energy in clean energy systems: Spotlight on young professionals and Africa

The NICE Future initiative and the International Youth Nuclear Congress (IYNC) are presenting this webinar. We invite young professionals, experts and academics working in nuclear and nuclear energy-related fields, and others interested in hearing perspectives from industry and government representatives as they share their vision for nuclear energy in Africa’s future.

As nuclear energy emits no carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, mercury or particulates that cause smog, it can accelerate progress towards clean energy goals. The webinar will explore the importance of sharing nuclear energy’s clean energy story. Millennial perspectives are important to this topic as policymakers, innovators and investors shape the future. Learn from our colleagues from African countries how nuclear energy fits into their national clean energy systems and economic growth policy planning, now and in the future, and how millennials from Africa are sharing their stories.
